Please see Adjunct Faculty Services for special services in support of TUC adjunct faculty.

The loan periods for library materials checked out by TUC faculty are

  • Books - 8 weeks
  • Media – 4 week
  • Reserve materials – 6 hours

Most library materials may be renewed twice.

There are no overdue or recall fines for TUC faculty. However, faculty members will be charged the replacement cost for any lost book or other library materials, and borrowing privileges may be suspended in certain circumstances.

Please see the Circulation Policy for complete details.

The library staff would be happy to collect any items you need and hold them for you behind the circulation desk or have them sent to you through interoffice mail. Please contact Access Services Librarian with any paging request.

Reference/Research Assistance

Librarians are available to assist you with reference and research questions. Please contact one of the librarians in your curriculum area (see list above). For more information, see the Reference Services page.

The Library purchases and places on reserve one copy of all required textbooks and one copy of all recommended textbooks on the class reading list. TUC faculty may place additional copies of required texts on reserve. In order to have these materials available to students for the start of the semester, the Library requests that class reading lists be submitted to the Library no later than 8 weeks before the start of the class. The Course Reserves Guide provides retrieval of reserve materials by course number/name and professor's name. For more information, see the Course Reserves page.

Faculty may check out reserve items for 6 hours and items may leave the library.
