Services for Students on Rotation

Since TUC students on rotation are most often at remote locations, the Library is making available these special services to provide library support while the student is away from campus.

Circulation & Books by Mail

The loan periods for books (excluding reserves) checked out to TUC students on rotation is twice as long as for regular TUC students.

  • Books – 6 weeks
  • Media – 1 week
  • Reserve items – 3 hours
  • Journals (except current issues) - 1 week

Books by Mail is a service offered to TUC students on rotation. Eligible patrons can request mailing of on-shelf TUC circulating items by contacting Access Services Librarian. The Library will ship books to students on rotation via insured mail at the Library's expense. Books sent by mail are subject to regular loan periods. Returning the item(s) to the Library is at the user's expense. Books returned by mail are checked in based on postage date. Most library materials may be renewed twice.

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan services continue to be available to TUC students on rotation. TUC students are provided interlibrary loan (ILL) requests  for free and unlimited number of requests.  For more information or to request materials, see the Interlibrary Loan page.
